Didn’t it start so strange? Us, two random people,

Brought together by technological chance

We started awkward, a balance delicate - feelings gossamer

Orthogonal thoughts ,antithetic backgrounds, shared values

Our story began, so commonly uncommon  

An emotional roller-coaster -

My reservation against your exuberance

My mistrusts , fears against your strength and confidence

Your unflinching devotion and your reasonable counsel

That naughty playful exterior covering solid pragmatic interior

Eventually leading me to see the world ,

With eyes - free of prejudice

And now, I slowly close them, to think of one thing to say

With a throaty lump and racing heartbeat,

“I want to be a better man for you”.
